Shallow Questions with Deep Answers

{For the record, I'm not going anywhere new... I'm going to make the same point I've made over and over, but I'm trying to drill this point into my own head, so feel free to listen in.}

"Am I beautiful?" "Am I worth it?" "Am I enough?" "Does anyone even notice me?" "Will someone ever love me the way the love songs on the radio explain?"

These are questions that plague every young girl's mind. (Well... maybe not every but I'm pretty sure the 98% of the female population 12 years of age and over think about those questions on weekly, if not daily, basis.) Most are actually brought on by stupid songs we hear on the radio. (For example, "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. (That's a shallow example, but still...))

They start singing the song, the lyrics get stuck in their head and suddenly they're wondering, more like wishing, "Does anyone think of me in that way?"

I know because I have that thought pattern often. Too often, to be honest.


The truth? Someone loves you more than you can imagine. More than a guy ever could.

Jesus love is so relentless and incredible, we'll never be able to fully understand it, but He loved us enough to die for us. He's pursuing us. He's not afraid to make the first move, either, ladies. He's literally at the front door of your heart knocking; pounding on it.

Will you answer it and accept His incomparable love?
