So, lately, I've gotten VERY bored with my makeup look, but I have an extremely limited time to do my makeup in the morning. It's been sunny all week and that got me thinking of new summer looks, so I got a new lip gloss. :) However, a lip gloss doesn't always equal a smashing new look. While it looks okay on its own, I decided to take my look to the next level- SUMMER!
This look is super easy and fairly cheap as well! I started with some foundation/cover-up to create a flawless (or almost flawless) canvas. Dust with loose powder.
Then, I took a champagne and a tan eyeshadow, blended them together and put them all over my eyelid from lash line to brow bone. Important: DO NOT contour your eye with a darker color in the crease. That will take away from the natural shadow look and the next step.
Next, I took a light green eye pencil and glided it across the upper lash line. Don't be afraid if it's a little thick. Remember, this is supposed to be a summery, easy going look- if it gets a bit messy, that's okay. Think beachy! :)
Slick on 2 coats of mascara, and you are good to go!
To add to the look, apply a bit of bronzer to your nose, cheeks and forehead. This, of course, is optional.
Finish off the look with a tinted, shiny gloss with SPF and you're beach ready.
