God of Second Chances

So, at the moment, I want to bang my head into the computer. You would think that since I published the challenge, I would be able to do it no problem, right? Well, that would be wrong. I didn’t worship, I didn’t call Danielle (that would be my prayer partner) and I spent too much time online. So, once again, I have to press the restart button. It’s officially time to put this challenge into the forefront of my mind. I’m so glad that our God is a God of second chances. He is a redeeming God, and for that I’m thankful.

I did, however, do one of the mini challenges. I wrote a letter of encouragement/thanks to send to my friend, who also happens to be a leader in my life. I have yet to send it out…

Mini Challenges of the day:

Spend 10 minutes just listening to God. Don’t speak, just listen.

Tell a friend what God’s been doing in your life.

Kneel to pray. It seems simple, but the act of bowing before the Lord can do amazing things.

Write a note to your future self. Share what you’re interested in now, what you want to be, etc. It seems silly, but I’ve done it before and it’s really fun to go back and read over it a few months later. Every time I read mine, I look at it and I think “wow! God really is working in me!”

Extra Mini Challenge:

Change your homepage to an encouraging site. I personally like www.projectinspired.com J

On a side note, I keep thinking of the song “Who is Like You” by Meredith Andrews. Tonight, I’m simply overwhelmed at His beauty and grace. He melts me every time I catch a glimpse of Him. What would I do without you, Lord? I am in absolute, complete love.
