Knee-mail

I want to apologize to those of you who've been following my 30 day challenge posts. Time got away from me last night! I came home from youth group and talked with my parents for a while and before I knew it, my clock read 11:00 p.m.! Needless to say, I read my Bible and went to bed.

Yesterday and today, I've done the challenge well. I haven't called my prayer buddy, but I saw her last night at youth group AND I just emailed her.

Something I've learned so far in this challenge? Prayer is awesome! It heals, it helps and it's the best way to connect with God.

After all, He's only a knee-mail away! :) (Sorry, but I couldn't resist the cheesy but true line.)

Here are the mini challenges for the day:

• Read for an extra 15 minutes in your Bible
• Pray for the leaders in your life
• Write an encouraging letter to a friend who's going through a hard time

I know that this is a fairly short blog entry, but I've got friends over. (Avenger members marathon night. Starting with Iron Man, ending with Thor. :) Yup... I'm kind of a nerd. I forgot to mention that we'll be going to the midnight Imax 3D premiere next Thursday. :D I have a feeling you'll be seeing a superhero post here in the near future!)
